Clear the Air Fundraiser

After a year without a show on stage, Little Theatre of Tuscarawas County turns to the community for support to “clear the air” through the purchase of air purification systems that will assist in protecting the community for many years to come. Little Theatre hopes to raise $5,000 to offset the cost and installation of these systems prior to their anticipated reopening in fall 2021.

This new equipment will assist in providing our patrons, cast, and crew members with cleaner, higher quality air. The systems are 99.4% effective at removing Covid-19 virus pathogens from the air. Carpenter Heating & Cooling of New Philadelphia has been contracted to provide the units and installation for Little Theatre.

“This purchase will allow us to feel confident in bringing our volunteers and audience members back into our space as safely as possible,” stated Sarah Spies, President of the Little Theatre Board of Trustees. “But after a year of no earned revenue, we need the community’s help in funding this purchase so we can open our doors again.”

For each $100 contributed to the fundraising drive between April 1 and May 1, the donor will receive one entry towards a grand prize basket valued at approximately $500 featuring products and gift certificates from Alley Cats Marketplace, Craft Bistro & Lounge, Rachel Bolek, Stephanie Crone, Nancy DeFlippo, Dr. Hartman’s Office, Little Theatre, Logos, the Kris & Dave Moreland family, the Jim & Lisa Morris family, Pam's Posies, Ellen Rogers with Stella & Dot, Jennifer Thurston, and Quirk’d. A $300 donation would award the donor three entries into the drawing.

Five additional runner-up prizes of a Little Theatre gift certificate will be awarded from the pool of all campaign donors. Donations may be made here or via mail to PO Box 53, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663. Make all checks payable to Little Theatre with Clear the Air in the memo line. Please include a contact phone number on all mailed donations. Little Theatre is a volunteer run 501c3 non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible.
