60th Anniversary Celebration

Vision: This will be an open-house-style event to be held on-property at the Little Theatre. The front area and Pace-adjacent side will have tents, tables, and a small stage. This area will house the catering (simple hors d'oeuvres), a few tables (6-8ft and standing tables), and 8 ft. tables for a silent auction. We will also have entertainment outside, which will include performances of songs from past Little Theatre productions (Shannon has volunteered to recruit for this, and Michael has volunteered to MC). Wine and beer will be available through ticket purchasing (we can include a ticket or two with the purchase of a Gala ticket or include one in the invitations, TBD). Beer can be served outside, while we can keep the wine inside at the concession stand to help push people into the theatre from the front. Inside the theatre, we will have a display of some of the documents, pictures, and videos compiled by our historian. Casual walk-through tours will take place, allowing the public to see the green room, dressing rooms, wardrobe, workshop, etc. NOTE: Spongebob Jr. will be in rehearsals at this time, so they will have some set pieces onstage and backstage. (We can have them stanchioned off so folks won't touch.) The entire lobby and house can have photos, and we can also set up a projector to play some photos and videos from past productions. There can also be a memory-sharing station for community members to write down their favorite shows and memories of the Little Theatre, which we can then utilize on social media during the remainder of our capital campaign. I would recommend ending the tour with the wardrobe so folks can exit that back door to join the outside activities on that side.
